Triad 1.0

Triad is a game of matching attributes. At the beginning of the game, the playing board displays 81 tiles in a 9 x 9 array. Each tile is different and has four attributes. You must match the current tile with another tile in the same row or the same column. At least one attribute must match. If no attributes match, you will not be awarded a bonus game. If at least one attribute matches, the current tile will disappear and the tile just clicked will become the current tile. You will also score points depending on how many attributes you matched.

The main aim of the game is to clear the board without making an error and claim a bonus game. The more bonus games you can get, the higher your potential score.

A subsidiary aim of the game is to score as many Triads as possible (matching three attributes) which can boost your score by 6 points at a time.

The game ends when either there are tiles left on the board but you have no more legal moves, or you clear the board but have made an error during play, or the timer has run down to zero.

If your score is good enough, you will be entered into the Triad Top Ten.
