Spoonbill 2048 is
Spoonbill Software's implementation of the popular on-line game 2048
which was created by Italian web developer Gabriele Cirulli in
March 2014.
The aim of the game is to create a 2048 tile. The game is played on a 4
x 4 grid and each game starts with two randomly positioned tiles each
worth either 2 or 4.
Each move consists of sliding the tiles in one of four directions:
Left, Right, Up or Down. If in sliding, two tiles of the same value
collide, they merge into a single tile worth the sum of the values of
the two merged tiles. After each move, a random tile worth either 2 or
4 is randomly positioned on a vacant cell.
The game continues until either you create a tile worth 2048 or the
board becomes full of tiles and there are no more possible moves.
