flower power
Flower Power is a board game based on the game "Let's Do Lunch" by Hasbro. In this version you compete with your opponent to be the first to plant your twelve flowers in the garden. The first to plant their 12 flowers wins the round and scores a number of points equal to the number of flowers not yet planted by their opponent. Rounds continue until one player scores 20 or more points when that player is declared the winner of the game.

Three special dice are used to determine the column in which you must play your flower. Each die only contains the numbers 1, 2 and 3. A roll of 1, 2, 3 in any combination forces the player to forfeit their turn. You also forfeit your turn if the column in which you must play is fully occupied. If you roll triplets (three 1s, three 2s or three 3s) you earn a bonus turn once you have played your flower.

You can remove your opponent's flowers from the garden if you manage to completely surround their flowers (no spaces) in any direction, horizontally, vertically or diagonally. Columns wrap around vertically but rows and diagonals do not wrap. A flower planted in column 6 cannot be removed.
